But also!! Your donation will also support vital research into finding a cure for motor neurone disease (MND).

Sofia Levin swung by Kangaroo Ridge Retreat earlier in 2021 as part of a food discovery of the Yarra Valley. As a renowned travel and foodie explorer and journalist in Melbourne, Sofia has brought together an impressive lineup of talent for the Grounded For MND event, showcasing the impact of this devastating disease and the importance of supporting those affected by it.

The total prize valued at over $2500.00 includes a two-night stay here at Kangaroo Ridge Retreat, dinner and a wine tasting at Jayden Ong,’s Winery & Cellar Bar, a set menu with matched wines at TarraWarra Estate, another at Heartswood, lunch at Lulu’s Burgers and a Four Pillars immersive makers session.

But what truly makes this fundraiser both bitter and amazing is the story behind it. Sofia’s father, Greg Levin, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease last year, and Sofia has been working to raise awareness and funds to support those affected by it. Her efforts resulted in the Grounded For MND event, an exhibition of her father’s photography taken before his diagnosis. It showcases his talent and love for travel and adventure. Even though the exhibition is currently closed, entries for the competition are still open, giving you the chance to win this fantastic prize and support a great cause.

By donating just $2 to MND Victoria through Sofia’s fundraising page, you can help support vital work and make a difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease. Donations are open until March 19th, 2023, and you can enter as many times as you like.
