Kangaroo Ridge Retreat offers wedding night accommodation above Healesville in the Yarra Valley. Late arrivals from your reception, along with parking from 1 pm on your wedding day are all part of the service. Let us know your plans so the practical details are all settled so all there is to do is let the celebrations begin.
For a little more waiting on your return, the optional Wedding Night Arrival brings together soft lighting, fresh flowers, a midnight snack and sparkling wine. Something to eat, a glass to raise and time to compare notes on the day.
A couples massage can also be arranged during your stay. There’s no need to go anywhere; the therapists come to your retreat.
Our retreats are perfect for the hours after the celebration and the slow mornings that follow. Due their size, they aren’t suitable for wedding day preparations, so please arrange hair, make-up, getting ready and photos elsewhere.

Yarra Valley Honeymoon
After the last dance, return to a retreat styled for your wedding night, with a midnight snack and chilled sparkling wine waiting. There’s usually plenty to talk over.
Your second evening is set aside for a private BBQ, with the valley below and the ranges beyond. Take your time over dinner. There are no speeches tonight.
Before you head home, two therapists come to your retreat for a 90-minute side-by-side couples massage. A welcome change from being on your feet.

Ceturn from the celebrations to your private retreat, styled for your wedding night with soft lighting and fresh flowers.
A midnight snack and chilled Champagne will be waiting. Kick off your shoes, find something to eat and compare notes on the day. The speeches are over; this part is just for you.
Late check-out
Take your time to recover from your magical stay at Kangaroo Ridge Retreat. After a night of romance and indulgence, enjoy a lazy morning in bed and savor the moment a little longer.
