We’re accredited

To be technically correct, we were already accredited a year ago. Receiving our accreditation status was one of our 20-21 lockdown projects. This was a goal of ours that kept being interrupted by the patchwork of metro Melbourne lockdowns. Similarly, due to the restrictions, we were not able to have a site accreditation visit until this month.

Now it has happened! Toot!

Accreditation is one of our ways to show you, as our guest, that we are committed to a consistent, quality and reliable service. The accreditation process means that we have been assessed with a national Australia wide program to ensure we satisfy all licensing, business management, safety and security concerns required as a tourism business.

We have finally finished it! And like any small business with many wheels and balls in the air at once, pulling together all the elements of the accreditation requirements, it was a bit of long and tedious task. But well worth it because now we will have more increased/improved confidence with our wholesale and inbound operators, we’ve centralised our documentation management systems and formalized our training processed with our staff.

We’d like to thank VTIC professional development team who helped us, nudged us to get our act together and coached us through it. We admit, yeap it was a bit of a battle to sit down and finish it.

But we got there in the end.
