    It’s the end of harvest and this year’s vintage is almost done! This is the Yarra Valley in autumn!

    Put on some boots, a rainjacket, some sunscreen (because you know – it’s four seasons in one day at the moment!) hold onto your hat and get outside. Kangaroo Ridge Retreat has your Yarra Valley Autumn wine down sorted for when you come inside from foraging and light that fire.

    Our Autumn Collection wine selection is a blend of six local wine releases that are perfectly matched for your autumn time. Think chilled relaxed mornings, hiking in the forest, the odd remnant storm butted up against winters calling winds.

    This autumn is proving to be a mixed season of grey skies coupled with stunning mornings and sunsets. As the daylight savings shifts to the winter time zone, enjoy a mix of wines including pinots, red blends and the odd complex white. All wines are perfect for spontaneous friend gathering, the first crackling cabin fire,  watching the rain clouds gather in the west or listening to the motion of the wind in the mountains.
